Please choose one of the following activities to work on and let us know how you get on.
1. Colour walk
What you need:
An area to explore. Please remember the social distancing rules in place.
Optional extras: A phone, a camera, some paper and some coloured pens, pencils or crayons.
Find an area to explore. It could be your house, garden or the local park. If you do go to your park, please remember to maintain social distancing at all times.
Look for things in the area for every colour of the rainbow.
You can photograph or draw each item.
You can decide how many things you want to find for each colour.
If you’re playing at home you could arrange the items in the correct order of a rainbow.
After your walk, you could make colourful drawings of some of the things you saw.
2. Tin foil art
What you need:
A4 piece of card (cereal box is perfect)
Ball of string or thick wool
On A4 card, draw a pattern, animal or you can trace around your hand.
Dip your string in PVA glue and follow the line of your design. This will be messy but is really good fun!
Once completed, leave it to dry.
Cut a piece of tin foil that is slightly larger than A4.
When your string is dry (it will be hard to the touch) use a paintbrush to apply a thin layer of glue over your card and string.
Lay the foil gently over the top and firm down with your hand.
3. Spider web
What you need:
First place a ting dot, somewhere your paper with your black pen
Then draw an even number of straight lines (6, 8 or 10) from the dot to the edge of the paper.
Now it is time to become a spider. Draw connecting lines to join the straight lines together.
Colour the web in using two different colours.
Send in your webs to school.
You can send any work to email@example.com
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
